Two great British fashion icons Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn are set to become the face of the fashion label Burberry spring/summer 2015 campaign.
“Naomi & Jourdan- two great British icons,two strong,beautiful women and the perfect faces for our new campaign. It is, as always,a real privilege to work with them,” says Christopher Bailey, Burberry chief creative and chief Executive Officer.
Personally, I love Naomi for her iconic and strong walk on the runway. More so, for the fact that she has over the years given other young black women the hope that they too can do it. But what bothers me most now withing the fashion industry is, the faces don’t change. It is always the same familiar names and faces we see on the billboard and telly campaigns.
When does the young hardworking model who is not from a famous heritage get their break through? Should the industry recycle and create new household names for the next generation?
Either-way I am a big fan of the label and totally adore their trench coats, vibrant and playful rich colours.
A burst of colours from flowers to insects. Floral hues, wasp waist and dragonfly belts. Denim silk, gloss shell leather and cobweb tulle were some of the details from the previous seasons collection.

A preview of the collection includes a degrade trench coat in French lace, crafted on antique looms, the intricate and lightweight fabric is printed for graduated effect.
