As Liv Tyler and her team worked hard in the crypt of a deconsecrated church at One Marylebone road, the fashion queue and press waited in anticipation for the moment when we will be ushered in to the presentation of Belstaff 2016 fall ready-to wear collection. The girls I had met on my way to the show were all having such a good time talking about all the shows happening during London Fashion week and what to expect from the Belstaff presentation.
The five minute delay to the start of show was candid and worth the wait. We walked in with the most welcoming of smiles greeted with endless glasses of bubbles and the most beautiful fashion party atmosphere put together. The models looked stunningly beautiful dressed in the 12 piece-capsule collections inspired by renowned female pioneers; the women’s design team was drawn to Edith “Jackie” Ronne’s great Antarctic expedition of 1947.
Models posed in frozen scenes were seen wearing polar and moto gear pieces. Some of the pieces included bomber jacket, helmets, leather pants, paired with fur-lined parkas, embroidered jackets and patchworks of wools added flare to the collection.

This has been my third invite to the brands many fashion events and I feel so honoured and privileged to be affiliated to a global British and Lifestyle brand.
