THE ATOGHU PRINT

The Atoghu Print is our new muse here at MammyPi. This is because of all the celebrities, and different personalities we have seen in this print. Bare in mind it never fails to capture all the attention. Also, it gives its wearer a whole new identity and personality. The manner in which the colours compliment each other and the twists and turns the patterns take shows raw creativity. It shows how enriching culture can be and every person who wears this wears it with a certain valour and style.

The Toghu print, like many African traditional wears, knows no class or body structure or all the differences we find our selves in. However, it brings communities together and that is what we especially love about it. We hope it will be doing same for you, our readers as we would be your number one site for all the exclusive details on every and anything Toghu.

Now, why are we all about the Toghu today? Its Mimi Akeh, yes, the ever glamorous, ever stylish Mimi Akeh. For our new readers, this post will get you started on who she is and why we can’t miss out on this opportunity to talk about our two favorite things; TOGHU and FASHION.

MIMI AKEH IN TOGHU PRINT

In the picture above and the ones that follow, Mimi is spotted with the Toghu print patterned and sewn into a strapless, skin-tight, long gown. One Toghu embroidered accessory is never enough and we love the fact that she went for the full African queen look with Toghu print Pochette, large beads and long diamond-shaped earrings.

More still, though we couldn’t get our eyes on her shoes we are certain it has a mixture of red and black, just like her manicure. Conversely, we expected her to wear bold red lipstick. Well, we guess there is, after all, something like too much red. We, therefore, understand her wanting to keep a natural face just like she kept it natural with the background.

Less is more so we would talk less and let you enjoy more of Mimi Akeh.
