Just a week after tensions calmed down between the Kardashians and Amber Rose, there is new media war between camp Elton John & Dolce & Gabanna. Apparently, The Italian fashion pair Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana referred to the English music icons two sons with husband David Furnish as “Synthetic”. Elton John has started a new campaign to boycott their “archaic” fashion line with hash-tag #BoycottDolceGabbana
This is causing war on Instagram between the two camps involved. The interesting aspect of this is not the cause of the problem, but how quick sub-wars are waged between fans of the two camps taking on against each other to defend their icons. Again, this is how the media shapes attitudes and create new trends.
This is what Sir Elton John posted on his Instagram account in response to the comment by the Italian pair.
This is what Dolce & Gabanna had in their defence!

What do you think about this issue and the speed at which celebrities use social media to address each other when there is a misunderstanding? Do you think both parties should be more conscious as to what they post on their pages (to be role models)or “Freedom of speech” should be exercised freely without consideration of how others perceive messages?
