IRENE MAJOR IS A LOT MORE THAN WHAT THE MEDIA FEEDS YOU!

Have you ever heard of the phrase “The uses and gratification of the mass media”? Take this from  a media theory student. The mass  media can be very bias for their own selfish reasons. However, it is up to you to filter the information thrown at you by the different media channels, read between the lines and decide what  piece of  information you chose to consume.  What I am saying is there are two sides to the coin. You have seen what television sources Vloggers and other news channels has to say about Irene Major.

However, I have a different take on things, not from what I have read in the news, seen on television or popularly  debated on Facebook. On a one-to-one relationship, Not just because she is from Cameroon, or a Cameroonian Fashion Blogger, Irene Major is another version of me. She is a down to earth, beautiful and kind person. She loves fashion and enjoys the camera. A young girl at heart who just want to have fun and not be judged.  That is the Irene Major I want you to know and remember. There are hundreds of fashion bloggers out there but this is why Irene Major stands out to me. Her style is completely unique, she wears the trend at least a year before the trend even becomes a trend. She has a keen eye to vintage and enjoys playing with accessories. I have learned a thing or two about her wardrobe, every piece is carefully selected and looks entirely different from what I have seen on other fashion bloggers. From her head pieces to her jewellery collection. Irene Major knows how to mix her couture and her high-street together. She bags the stand alone pieces and makes them her own.

The difference between our styles is that Irene Major is a lot more daring with fashion. She is not afraid to break the rules and throw in a lot more accessories than I will normally do. I like keeping my style fresh and safe. It works well for me just  like it does for her and there are a few tips we both can learn from each other. I hope you love her outfit of the day #OOTD.
