A romper is a one-piece, effortless ensemble that is incredibly versatile and available in many different styles, prints, fabrics, as well as lengths. With so many different options to choose from, there is a one out there for everyone regardless of size. Now more than ever, plus size rompers are making their way into the mainstream and are becoming the new wardrobe staple!
Wearing a romper in fall
The romper is pretty much summer’s go-to piece because it is easy, breezy and so adorable. Lately, this has been one of go-to to looks. Therefore, even though I know it is the fall season now, I couldn’t resist rocking one this past weekend! The weather was gorgeous! Ideally, to rock a romper in the fall, simply pair it with a cute jacket or cardigan with knee-high boots!
Romper style for plus-size women
For this look, the style with sleeves, while still a lightweight summer piece easily transitioned to fall. I love the fabric and the cream color which makes it easy to accessorize. The floral details further enhance its appeal. Meanwhile, it also has a cinched waist design that further emphasizes my waist and my curves. For plus size women, you always want to look for a romper that has an elastic waist that will help to accentuate your curvy figure.
Adding a pop of color
Espadrille wedges are a lovely companion for rompers. In fact, wedges are especially great if you want to look taller (I do). Therefore, I paired mine with yellow espadrille wedges. I also believe that the yellow adds a pop of color to the soft pink floral fabric for a more fun and trendy look.
For bigger girls, putting on a one-piece of any kind and walking around in public can seem like a cruel form of torture. But the romper is perfect because it flares off the waist, making it very accommodating for fuller-figured women.
