It’s hard to believe summer’s already coming to an end. Even though fall clothes are some of my favourite wardrobe pieces, that does not mean I am ready to let go of my summer clothes yet. While the weather is still relatively warm on most days, I took advantage over the weekend to style some of my gifted pieces from Cameroonian brands you should know.
In yesterdays outfit of the day, I put together this gorgeous outfit by three Cameroonian fashion brands. I have done all the hard work for you discovering who the leading clothmakers from Cameroon are. Therefore, all you need to do is head over to their media handles and promote a black-owned business. While you are there, don’t forget to mention Mammypi for a chance to grab a discount.
Incredibly Affordable Cameroonian Brands You Should Know
Sorry I almost digressed. So, I am wearing a green cotton Tshirt by contemporary clothing brand Lemoi. This beautiful soft cotton Tshirt got shipped from the USA and arrived the other side of the pond in excellent condition. Without a doubt, the colour is the first thing that caught my attention. In case you don’t know, green’s my favourite colour, and I am continually learning to shop in other colours for variety. This summer, I was busy collecting slogan T-shirts as you may have seen on my Instagram. The green colour of this Lemoi cotton Tshirt is beyond incredible, and I love how it blends into my skin tone. Remarkable isn’t it?
In the light of supporting black-owned brands, I decided to pair my Lemoi merch with this adorable over-the-knee pinafore Toghu print skirt. This latest addition to my world of short summer skirts is the creative work of no other but Annie Kukkie Wardrobe. If you are new to the fashion scene, Annie Kukkie Wardrobe is a fast-growing Cameroon clothing brand. The brand has styled celebrities like Syndy Emade and many more. Everything about this sensational Toghu print skirt is beautiful from the bold colours, voluminous design and fantastic fit.
Lastly, for this post, I decided to put away my big afro hair for this super silky wig from SuzieXO. If you know me, you know I always wear my natural tresses. But since I discovered wigologist SuzieXO, I have found new confidence in wearing wigs on a bad hair day.
