Welcome to my first outfit post for my style journey in the month of August. This has been long coming but I am glad the fashion post is finally up on the blog. Today has been an exceptionally warm day which inspired me to check out my wardrobe and put and outfit together to inspire a fashionistas like yourself. Usually in August we have to think light layers when dressing as it gets a little chilly. I am wearing the best of British high street fashion brands and every piece of clothing has been carefully picked to bring the full set to life. As you already know, I am a staunch advocate of less is more. My style journey has been consistent so far. And the key learning form my style blog should be clean, bold, modern,creative and sexy. Sex sells, that is a fact. But we don’t have to take off our clothes to look sexy. Double fact!

I am wearing a red peplum top from Lipsy. This top is a fashion essential and I believe every girl should own one. The cut is flattering and the white belt helps to define the waistline. This will work absolutely well for curvy and less curvy ladies to bring out your freshest look for a summer day or night.
I have paired my red peplum with a white harem pants I got from River Island a couple of seasons behind. The beauty about fashion blogging is, fashion bloggers are allowed to wear whatever they want irrespective of the season that item became available. These white trousers are everything. It is a fashion essential and should have a place in every fashionistas wardrobe. The fabric is amazing and ease enough to be worn by anyone did I mention the remarkable comfort it offers the wearer?
I achieved my mega afro puff from taking out my Bantu knots down after 5 days of having them in. Almost three years nappy and happy.
My mid heels are a Paige Jewel from Miss KG collection. I am super excited as the shoes blends in nicely with my finger candy and ear statements. The shoes which are green in colour but also looks like neon are a bargain buy and they bring out the magic pop in this outfit.
I hope you do enjoy the outfit of the day. I kept my accessories really simple because I wanted the focus to be on the colours and the items on set. Every item fell in place correctly and like I said before, style is a journey with its twist and turns.
