President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s final official White House State dinner took place some couple hours ago whilst you were sleeping. This has been the 14th White House State dinner and the last as first lady for Michelle Obama. First Lady Michelle Obama (FLOTUS) made her stunning entrance at the event making it a memorable fashion moment in a shimmering copper coloured, chainmail Versace gown. Arriving on the steps of the White House, she welcomed the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife, Agnese Landini, in a sequined floor-length Atelier Versace dress .
The first couple of the USA Mr & Mrs Obama hosted Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi for the evening, as well as a number of Italian and American dignitaries including Chance the Rapper, singer Frank Ocean, fashion designer Geiorgio Armani and actor Roberto Beniigni. The State dinner was cooked by celebrity Italian/American chef Mario Batali who came wearing his white apron and yellow crocs.
