From the runway images, the story I am consuming is very relatable. It pains a picture of a multi-cultural society maybe of students. The models are a graphic representation of the everyday students we see. Some of them look really angry and lost. The monochrome braids, the track bottoms, sneakers with slogans like “Ocean Apart”. The designer is probably telling the story of foreign students studying in the United States of America and the struggles they undergo through his collection.

According to Vogue website, Kerby Jean-Raymond came out to address the crowd just before the show started. “This is part one of a collection I am making. It’s called ‘Stories About My Parents’. This one is for my father-where is he? I forget what you look like sometimes.” The brand sells one of its biker jackets at $2,350.00.
