Five days after inauguration as the 46th President of the USA President Joe Biden’s wife welcomed Champ and Major in the White House. Since President Obama’s last term, the first lady Jill Biden welcomed their dogs Champ and Major this morning making dogs’ return into the White House.
“The First Family wanted to get settled before bringing the dogs down to Washington from Delaware. Champ is enjoying his new dog bed by the fireplace, and Major loved running around on the South Lawn.” First Lady Jill Biden’s press secretary Michael LaRosa told CNN in a statement Monday.

The Bidens’ dogs moving into the White House marks a return to a longstanding tradition of Presidents and their families bringing their pets with them to the White House. Unfortunately, former President Donald Trump did not have any pets for the one-term he served as President while living in the White House.
Jill shared beautiful photos of First dogs Champ and Major wearing the cosiest dogwalker outfit. She kept warm in a long black winter coat paired with sneakers from the Swiss running brand On Cloudflow.
The running shoes come with technology within the rubber sole, creating a cushioned, shock-absorbing finish, ideal for training and racing. Notably, the sneakers have a breathable mesh with dedicated ventilation zones and taped reinforcements with an elasticated panel across the speed-lacing system for enhanced support.
