Emelda and Serge had the most magical baby shower full of art, family, fun and friends. Not only was there plenty of food and drinks, but Ndah the event planner detailedly brought to life the ‘WOW’ factor. Owing to that, I can firmly say, this is arguably one of the most unique baby shower parties I have attended. Not because I am family to mom-to-be, but because truly, every detail and tips for planning was well executed. Some people ask questions like;
Why Have A Baby Shower?
Of course, it is fun, productive and the perfect occasion to pamper the parents-to-be as they are less overwhelmed before the baby’s arrival. Also, with babies needing a lot of things before their arrival, gifts from friends and family go a long way.
And that is exactly what happened over the weekend. Friends and families of Emelda and Serge Fombe gathered in Northampton to celebrate the arrival of the couple’s first baby.
Wakanda Baby Shower (Africa Fashion Inspired)
Soon-to-be parents Emelda and Serge Fombe were honoured with an elaborate baby shower party in the presence of their family and friends.
Star of the day, mom-to-be glowed in a Yellow one-shoulder dress with Bantu-knots. Her beau wore a matching African menswear top to compliment her style. Emelda certainly looked like a queen on her baby shower.
Highlights From The Party
In the first place, the African theme, decor and location was a complete given for the guest. All thanks to the strong and supportive team across Europe that took planning to new levels. Not to mention the band that played beats from Africa and beyond to entertain the guest. To say nothing of the couples best man and maid of honour Karen and Harry making a surprise entrance all the way from the USA will be unacceptable.
Take a peek inside their “Wakanda Party,” where love, fashion and life bloom. See how the couples family gathered at the beautiful Park Inn hotel to toast to the baby.
